Hello, thanks for stopping by.
A little about me . . .
Originally hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne in the North East of England, I have been calling London home for almost 12 years.
A Hair stylist and Colour artist by trade, my career has taken many interesting twists and turns since moving to the capital.
From the fashion styling departments of well known magazine titles to personal shopping for one of London’s most prestigious department stores, consulting on all things hair and beauty for a leading luxury retailer, to freelancing as a travelling hairstylist, visiting clients by private appointment in their homes.
My other great passions include travel, food and design and these topics used to regularly dominate conversations with clients during hair appointments.
I was forever being asked to write down details of my newest discoveries whether it be a restaurant, coffee shop, independent boutique, design hotel or beauty product.
Lost Weekends was born, out of a desire to document all of the extra special places and products I come across, so that others can enjoy them too.
Whether in a city, at the coast or in the country, I make a note of all of my favourite finds and share them over these pages.
I hope you enjoy taking a look around! If you like what you see then please feel free to say hello, leave a comment and help spread the word by sharing the site.
