Hello, thanks for stopping by.
A little about me . . .
Originally hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne in the North East of England, I have been calling London home for almost 12 years.
A Hair stylist and Colour artist by trade, my career has taken many interesting twists and turns since moving to the capital.
From the fashion styling departments of well known magazine titles to personal shopping for one of London’s most prestigious department stores, consulting on all things hair and beauty for a leading luxury retailer, to freelancing as a travelling hairstylist, visiting clients by private appointment in their homes.
My other great passions include travel, food, interiors, writing, photography and walking - I’m always happiest when roaming wild in nature.
Lost Weekends was born, out of a desire to document all of the extra special places and products I discover, so that others can enjoy them too. I like to focus on UK travel, artisan makers and indie businesses in particular.
Whether in a city, at the coast or in the country, I make a note of all of my favourite finds and share them over these pages.
I hope you enjoy taking a look around! If you like what you see then please feel free to say hello, leave a comment and help spread the word by sharing the site.
